My experience in mobile internet product development sometimes leads people to mistake me for 张小龙（Chinese Name）Allen Zhang, the father of WeChat. Indeed, our English names and Chinese surnames are identical.
Allen Zhang, the developer of a huge app in China's mobile internet business, is my hero. Coincidentally, I've been working in the mobile internet market for a long time, and I was the first person in China to post free Android training videos on Youku.
Here are some of the app projects I worked on in China as a product manager and R&D lead.
During my tenure at Lenovo:
- Overseeing Lenovo's Android developer ecosystem activities.
- In charge of developing Lenovo's official Android case studies.
Here are some intriguing applications I'd like to recommend:
- An app specifically for the Lenovo MIDH oath-taking ceremony.
- A user guide software designed just for Lenovo Pad devices.
- An app designed just for Lenovo's Spring Festival Gala.
During my working hours, I actively engaged in public benefit lecture programs in Shanghai with an organization similar to Ted called TingDao. I offered to help them create their official app.
Second stage: joining a startup.
- I took on the position of CTO. Here's the app that I led the development of. WeTang, China's leading chronic illness management platform, primarily serves diabetes patients. The platform has finished the storing of 100 million blood glucose records.
The third step involves transitioning to conventional non-tech enterprises that are undertaking internet transformation.
- I collaborated with two of China's top ten real estate businesses, one migrating to internet plus, on community O2O platform building and digital commercial projects (digitalization of shopping malls, smart parcel locker innovation).
I am now thrilled to join the Hobolite brand, where I will be responsible for technical R&D management for 3C goods closer to customers.
We've released the official app for Hobolite media photography light, Hobolite.
I'd like to promote our product here; it's a genuinely outstanding and well-designed fill light that's unlike anything on the market. It's full of inventiveness.
